Execution

We marked 33 golf holes of a multi-course golf club with the Emmentaler logo. In this way, golfers are reminded after every successful putt that they will be rewarded with a piece of delicious Emmentaler in the Club house or at home. This campaign is the first one in Switzerland to use golf holes for advertising.

Outcome

We marked 33 golf holes within the “Holzhäusern” golf club, located in the Swiss canton of Schwyz. The golf club is one of the most frequently visited in Europe, with 115,000 rounds played each year. The golf club has 6-, 9- and 18-hole courses, some of which stay open year-round. Every golfer is exposed to the message one time per hole during a round (6 times in a 6-hole, 9 times in a 9-hole or 18 times in an 18-hole course). The “hole sponsorship” lasts one year. Our message/ad reaches our target audience successfully over 1,000,000 times a year.
