Description

The film shows a conversation between Alec Baldwin and head chef for his Super Bowl party snack stadium, “Pierre”. Alec’s in the kitchen raising question on the quality, and in particular the softness of the cheese footballs. Alec’s air of gravitas on the topic of cheese footballs leaves the audience feeling compassion for the chefs. Clearly, they’ve been victim to conversations like this before. Halfway through, in classic Baldwin style, you fall for his decisiveness and dad-like sense of humour. Baldwin calls out to “Alexa” to make a massive order of the firmer Pecorino cheese to replace the much-too-soft Brie, and delivers a joke referencing the deflate-gate scandal from the previous year’s NFL post-season. Alec expects a big reaction, but the chef’s aren’t having any of it leaving a sour taste in Alec’s mouth. The film leaves you loving the chefs as much as you love Alec.
