Sony Computer Entertainment Europe wanted the website to offer an experiential glimpse into the world of Daxter. The site needed to convey Daxter's personality and quirky take on life to existing fans of the Jak & Daxter franchise.
It was felt that more detailed product information could be found on the official PlayStation website, as well as gamer sites and as such the website could offer pure entertainment content and little in the way of traditional product information. The site is full of quirky content, virals, games and downloads and Daxter introduces each section in his own unique way.
