Live action footage of individual bioluminescent jellyfish was captured in a bespoke black tank studio, while also tracking their unique swimming movement in order to create matching CGI frameworks. iOS13 graphics and icons were then recreated in CGI, and woven into the live-action jellyfish to create their ‘Dark Mode’ membrane.
