Description
To create an idea for a direct mailing that draws IKEA Family members' attention to the IKEA office furniture.
Execution
We invented a program that converts computer desktops into a real IKEA office environment and tidies things up. Thereby every piece of furniture has some real computer functions. IKEA Family members found a CD-ROM in their mail box containing the program.
Outcome
The sales figures of IKEA office furniture increased by 33% and people loved our idea. Weeks after our campaign people asked for our IKEA Desktop program.
