Execution

As radio was considered to be one of the two popular media along with television, the general public favored radio for a long period of time. People would carefully craft postcards with handwritings and drawings, submitting stories to the programs, which would be selected and read by the DJs during the programs.

This culture of listening into a radio show every day, yearning for their stories to be selected was a form of Analogue Sentiment. We expected that Galaxy Note 4 and S-Pen could recreate these feelings in modern day

Outcome

“Digital Postcard Fair” received 8,565 entries throughout the 3 weeks of submission period. Amongst those entries, 3,446 of them, roughly 40% of the total submission pool, were created using Galaxy Note products. 217 press media, both print and online, reported this campaign, and three TV programs did coverage on the fair, including MBC’s main news program.

The fair opened on November 25th and went on for 10 days, accumulating over 10,000 visitors despite the cold weather. The second round of fair that is currently taking place in Sangam-dong already had over 12,000 attendances as of mid-January
