The film opens to reveal beautiful black & white imagery of an artist we’ve never seen before. It feels different to the way artists are usually presented in today’s music scene; He’s unrehearsed, unfiltered and unproduced. His name is Leon Bridges, and at the time of casting and filming he was an unknown soul artist. We watch as he tunes up, sings from the heart, and dances by himself like no one is watching.
