A plan was designed with the goal of gathering as many signatures as we could to demand discos to play slow music again: The site bringslowdancingback.com collected the signatures, becoming the center of the cause. We also aired on national TV, radios, magazines and newspapers.
We announced the crusade in the net and the multimedia campaign directed traffic to the site. The movement grew on the Internet. Two friends from a blog decided to organize a public party to celebrate the return of slow dancing by gathering and slow dancing around the Planetarium. The news spread quickly. March 20th 7,000 people got together to slow dance at the Planetarium.
Outcome
502,000 signatures at the website -without any prize or reward in it-320 discos currently play slow tracks on a regular basis.6 slow music exclusive radio shows.One slow dancing digital radio station was created.One CD successful in sales.31 Facebook groups250 blogs picked up the subject
