ASDA shoppers were offered the chance to feature in the ASDA exclusive poster campaign.

Women were invited through in-store sampling and the ASDA magazine to enter a photograph of themselves or a friend for their chance to be famous locally.A winner was chosen from each store to attend one of four regional photo shoots.

Plus on the day 10 x luxury spa weekends for 2 (worth £1,000) were given away and 5 lucky women were invited to London to take part in a George modelling shoot.

Outcome

273 out of the 275 ASDA stores participated – 99% implementation.

Just over 5,000 entries received from ASDA stores and through the post.Sales of the entire Dove range increased by 9.5% in ASDA supermarkets.Opportunity to be seen by 7 million readers of the local press.Asda shoppers couldn’t speak highly enough of the whole promotion…“I love that it’s about real beauty, we’re not all models”.“Thank you so much for the most amazing day! Thank you to ASDA, George and Dove”.
