Description

Fifth Third Bank is called The Curious Bank. It prides itself on new ideas, no matter how simple or small. The Duo Card is a new product that combines credit and debit, making it redundant to carry two cards when you really only need one. When a company called Redundancy Incorporated Inc. finds out about this innovation, it completely (and totally) rocks their world.

Execution

To bring the DUO Card to life, we created a company called Redundancy Incorporated Inc., that does everything redundantly. News of the new card completely (and totally) rocked their world. The fully integrated campaign featured this insert that ran in major publications.

The insert was the Annual Yearly Report Summary for Redundancy Incorporated Inc. The report is accordion folded, when flipped through, it reads like a continuous (redundant) loop.

Outcome

For the sake of redundancy we’d like to say that sales doubled but the reality is much higher than that:

-DUO Card acquisition up 171%.

-Brand awareness up 9%.

-Attitudes about brand up 5%.
