RMHC is not just a place for families to stay close to the hospital, it is a place to stay together (often for months on end), while a sick child is receiving medical treatment. Inspired by real moments from RMHC families, the film follows the journey of a single family with a sick child staying at a Ronald McDonald House. Throughout the film, we are taken on an emotional family journey - the highs, the lows, the everyday breakthrough moments, and the simplistic beauty of a family supporting each other. As we are taken along the family’s journey, we see the strength of the sick child emerge by having his family by his side: laughing, playing, sharing meals together. It helps him get stronger. It is through the story, we begin to understand how Family is Medicine.
