How do you create an app to follow a huge hit on one of the most important TV networks in the world? The reality show “Medida Certa” (The Right Size) showed that the hosts of “Fantastico”, Renata Ceribelli and Zeca Camargo, were capable of getting fit in 90 days, using only exercises and the right diet. With 20 million viewers per minute (40 per cent share) in each of it's 13 episodes, the show “Medida Certa” was transformed into a very popular "Get Fit" walk in 10 cities in Brazil and also became a best selling book. The only thing missing was a tool to help each one to try Medida Certa in a very personal way.The app “Medida Certa” allows each user to live exactly the same experience as the famous hosts on TV. The app offers the right tools to reprogram your body in 90 days. The user can create a profile and the app suggests a personal recipe of exercises to get in shape. Graphs and other tools allow the user to monitor the changes day by day. The app also offers a few calculators: Body Mass Index calculator, fat and body mass; notifications that reminds the user the right time to have a meal; a pedometer; healthy recipes; tips for smart shopping; music list to listen while exercising. When the user is feeling exhausted, he/she can record a message and share it on social networks. Everything that used to be on the TV screen is now on everybody’s pockets.Just like on TV, the free app is a hit. More than 360 thousand people download it in just six months putting the app “Medida Certa” on the top of the Brazilian rankings. And most important: it helped to shape a fitter Brazil.
