Description

Qantas has a rich history of bringing Australians home to the people and places they love. This film tells the real stories of five Qantas passengers and their journey home to Australia, being welcomed at the airport by loved ones.

Matt, who works long shifts in a West Australian mine, returns to his young family rushing to greet him.

Melinda, who lives in Hong Kong but grew up in Sydney, returns home to show off her beautiful baby to her family.

Alice has lived and worked in London for three years and returns home to her mum and sister after a long time apart.

Young Charlotte has been holidaying with her grandparents in LA. Even though she loves feeling grown up travelling on her own, she loves coming home to be with her parents.

Backpacker Jacob is a chef from WA and has been backpacking through Chile for several months. He misses his mum’s good home cooking and is intrigued to see his younger brother’s new beard.

Seeing the Qantas red tail at an airport, or stepping on board a Qantas aircraft, makes Australians feel like they're halfway home already. That's the spirit we wanted to capture.
