Description
Using Hololens Augmented Reality headsets, guests could experience 4 installations specifically designed for The Macallan that utilized spatial storytelling to communicate the unique personality of The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Years Old and The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old. The installation featured custom-crafted, interactive art pieces that communicated what makes the whiskies so distinctive.
Execution
Using Hololens Augmented Reality headsets, we hosted a experiential events to communicate the unique personality between these two whiskies. The installation featured custom-crafted, interactive art pieces that communicate what makes the whiskies so distinctive; the headsets triggered a VO experience when you approach the artwork. For those who couldn’t attend our events, we launched a similar, comprehensive iOS11 ARKit app experience to be used at home.
Outcome
Overall, the result of the experience was that it generated over 115 million media impressions, 2.1 million users reached on social channels, 110,000 social video views, 1.7 million ARKit app impressions.
