Our solution to the brief was The Grolsch Barge - a unique “Grolsch” meeting and training facility to showcase the brand’s Dutch style, taste, quality and sales credentials to trade customers.Creating this required us to source a suitable barge and then design and build an appropriate 3D environment - at all times keeping true to the sprit of the brand.In addition to the design and build programme, we also had to source a location to moor the vessel that would be both appropriate for the brand and also practical/suitable for inviting trade customers to.
Outcome
The barge has received an extremely positive response both from Coors sales and marketing personnel and also from the core trade customer audience.
Feedback from the client indicates that the barge has achieved is key objective of repositioning the brand in the mind of key trade customers by allowing them to actually experience Grolsch's style, taste, quality and sales credentials.As a result of this success, Coors plan to use the barge in a national campaign in 2006.
