The DIY and Home improvement store chain Hornbach has redefined 'Do It Yourself' projects with its 'make it your project Hymn' concept. In a year dominated by financial crisis, the company declared everything that needed fixing across Europe into a DIY project. Tables, democracy, bankruptcy, mildew – the age of inactivity was declared over – no stone was to be left unturned. And all European Hornbach markets joined in – from Sweden to the Czech Republic.
