Description

The problem of illegal organ trade is a problem which appears especially in fast developing nations. Whether in China, Brazil or India, everywhere there are criminal networks, which illegally offer and sell organs for transplantations. Whether heart, kidney or liver - if you have enough money you get everything. “Donators” are in most cases the poorest of the poor: prisoners (on death row), slum inhabitants or children. They are abused as “human spare parts inventories”.

Execution

At first glance the ads look like your typical cut-price supermarket ads - heart, kidney and liver are “power prices” or “special offer”. But if you look more closely then it becomes clear that these are no butcher's premium cuts but human organs that are on sale illegally.

Outcome

The result was obvious: during the campaign period visits to the website www.ishr.org increased clearly compared to the time prior to the campaign.
