Description
To celebrate International Women’s Day 2018, we set out to create a short film based on Search Trends data, which revealed an unprecedented global interest in gender equality today. Looking at the data, we found that gender equality was being searched more than ever before. Using that insight as our starting point, we told the story of a world in search of answers — from understanding the percentage of women who work in various fields, to inquiring about the history of the women’s movement, and what exactly comes next. The piece also reveals the ways in which users have been inspired to act and highlights the most searched women who have been key figures in building a more equal world.
