The creative execution tends to bring consumers as close as possible to reality, by acting the way dictatorships are acting, i.e. by destroying an important article of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
Outcome
Thanks to this campaign, Reporters without borders has sold a lot of copies of the photographers book “Dominique Issermann” to back up their actions. Statistics show that during the campaign, the site www.rsf.org had been more visited than ever. Petitions are set up all year long, but during the campaign, more people put their signature on petitions, forcing dictatorships to liberate imprisoned journalists.
