Background

Situation: Not many Europeans are aware of the fact that low-cost airline Norwegian Air is a major provider of several US destinations.

Brief: Raise awareness of Norwegian Air as a major provider of several US destinations, and inspire the them to visit America.

Description

We cut from one situation to the next. In every situation people are standing around waiting for something. Cut to a Norwegian airplane landing at an airport and a V.O. that says ...AND ACTION! We immediately cut back to all the situations we saw before, only this time all the people are going about their business as normal - whether they are police officers, a roller girl, mobsters or children playing. We end up on a couple of tourists on the street looking amazed at each other saying: It´s just like being in a movie! Claim:

AMERICA - just like the movies (+ ticket price/Norwegian air logo.).

Execution

We created a campaign based on common references, and recognizable characters - well known from American movies. A spot for TV and Cinema was shot in 7 different languages, and several extra scenes were shot vertically for online use. Photos taken at the filmset were used for outdoor, print, banners and own channels.

It was a 360 degree campaign in owned, earned and bought channels, published in more than 8 European countries. The campaign was launched in late September 2017, and will be active for a few years.
