Description
To remind parents why McDonald’s is the perfect venue for their kids’ parties.Kids parties are a nightmare. Rather have the party at McDonald’s, where we’ll take care of everything for you. We created a campaign that highlighted the frightening consequences of hosting a kid’s birthday party at home. It can go pretty pear shaped. So seriously, rather have the party at McDonald’s.
Execution
To show parents how disastrous it can be to host a kids' party at their own homes, we built a jumping castle designed to look like a living room.
The jumping castle was inflated at malls and, as expected, kids went crazy on it.
Flyers with the McDonald's kids' parties contact number were handed out around the jumping castle.
Outcome
Not only did bookings for McDonald’s Kid’s Parties increase by 30% that week, but sales at the nearest McDonald’s increased by 26% as well.
