Execution

We curated student work and selected a core set of representatives. Digital and print media showcased them, their work and launched #madethis and #makethis.

Through a contest with (RED), we gave students on Adobe’s social platform, Behance, the chance to design the album cover for their DANCE (RED), SAVE LIVES2 with mentor and graffiti artist, Futura. The entire collaboration was presented at a live event at the NYC Apple Store.

We also launched a series of social Q&A sessions, which gave students worldwide direct access to creative professionals via Google Hangouts. The outside audience participated by submitting questions using #AdobeOfficeHours.

Outcome

A truly integrated marketing campaign, ‘Make it with Creative Cloud’ has connected 14 online and offline channels to drive deep awareness, social sharing and product usage. In twenty eight weeks, the campaign has garnered over 509MM North American impressions and 790MM total global impressions. Over 7.9MM earned impressions, with an additional 4MM from partners, drove 12.2MM deep impressions, over 103,955k trial downloads, and a 40% growth in Adobe’s social marketable universe, including nearly a 2,000% increase in Adobe Students’ Instagram channel.
