The Website "Story of Passion" is produced for the Daimler-Chrysler Ag on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the trademark of Mercedes. The target is to communicate the history of the trademark as a history of passion; the passion of the people, their personality, their commitment and their enthusiasm behind the trademark. For more than ten months, these people will come to life in ten event rooms. Step by step, ten different subject modules will go online.The first chapter of the "Story of Passion" focuses on the inventors of the automobile and the trademark of Mercedes: Daimler, Benz, Maybach and Jellinek. They all were driven by an individual vision they pursued passionately. If the user enters a person room, a short flash film will visualize this vision.Afterwards, the user enters the Gallery, where three objects or scenes are shown. Histories that let you feel and experience the passions of the founders are hidden beneath. The user goes on a playful expedition.The Gallery rouses the curiosity and the interest. If the user wants to know more, he can enter the Biography Room. The Biography tells the life story of the founders in chronological form. A lot of photos and original documents give the user a deeper insight.There are plans to supply the Gallery with films, voice over and animations.
