Description
Moved by the plight of Indian athletes, I wanted to make a film as a tribute to them. Cricketers are worshipped in India, but we do not have the same reverence for other sportsmen. I researched a little and found inspiring stories about men and women who have trained by using books, the internet (youtube) and sheer creativity. Released, to coincide with the Summer 2012 Olympics, I kept the branding of the commercial empty- so as to not belittle the athletes. This video is a tribute to them.
