Description

People have practiced yoga the same way for over 10,000 years. O.N.E. Coconut Water found a way to transform this ancient practice into both a first-of-its-kind global yoga experience, as well as the largest single yoga class of all time.

“O.N.E. Yoga On The Rocks Live” harnessed the power and reach of 360° video and live-streaming capabilities to connect O.N.E. with yogis across 4 continents and 9 countries. It even allowed yogis to virtually shop for O.N.E. throughout the experience

Using standard social media tools, we invited a global yoga community into one of the most coveted yoga experiences ever, while putting O.N.E. at the center of the experience: right on the yoga mat.

In the end, we cemented our positioning among this target as an enhanced hydration tool and brought them together as a global community united.

Execution

Disguised as a 10’ x 10’ coconut water sampling tent, our mobile content production studio effectively created the first fully-immersive 360° yoga experience at Red Rocks.

While 2,000 yogis were sampling O.N.E. Coconut Water and stretching out on their mats, our event team sprung into action, inviting the global yoga community to virtually join us at Red Rocks using Facebook Live and Facebook 360°. These standard social platform tools gave us the power to connect like-minded yogis across four continents in the moment.

To turn the content into conversion, we even integrated a ‘SHOP NOW’ button into the online experience, making it easy for participants to go from downward dog to hydration in just one click through to Amazon.

Outcome

Using ubiquitous social media tools, we put 1.5 million yogis across four continents onto the same virtual yoga mat, ultimately creating the largest single yoga class of all time.

What started as a regional sampling event evolved into a fully integrated experience, giving yogis a front row seat at one of the most majestic yoga studios in the world.

Our live stream and subsequent rebroadcasts drove interaction with the brand, organic reach and conversion/sales.

For what most brand’s spend on a half-page print ad (our all-in budget was $135k), we transformed a 2,000 yoga event into:

The largest single yoga class of all-time.

20% click-through on brand content

1.5 million views across 4 continents and 9 countries.

Content drove 18k click-throughs to Amazon.

Our page engagements (page consumptions) rose by 1,365% during the heart of our YOTR Campaign (7/18-9/14).
