Description

The film uses visual dramatisation to show the different types of pollen that can affect the eye during hayfever season. We see grass, flower pollen and tree pollen irritating peoples’ eyes as they walk through a semi urban environment. This visual is designed not only to show irritation, but also to act as a metaphor for how hayfever can affect your enjoyment of day to day life and spring itself.

We then demonstrate how Optrex Actimist can be sprayed onto closed eyes to repair your eyes’ lipid layer as you blink, relieving itchy watery eyes. The pollen is then seen fading away from the eye lashes and the line “Open your eyes to spring” closes up the story, inviting people to enjoy spring again without the restriction of irritated eyes.
