Independent Welsh Whisky, nestled in the Brecon Beacons, is also the only distillery in Wales. In support of its acclaimed flagship whisky, Penderyn, Welsh Whisky recently produced a special limited edition boxed whisky variant.

The oak wooden box, composed from the barrels the nine-year old whisky is matured in, is stencilled with the Penderyn typeface, also emulated in the bottle’s screened-on stencilled application. In the spirit of the clean, crisp taste of this rare and unique product, the main body labels are minimal in design, dated and numbered by the master distiller’s own hand signature.

This very rare single cask whisky was presented to the Prince of Wales on his visit to the distillery in 2008. Penderyn was voted “Micro distillery of the year” and this particular whisky is highly sought after by collectors.
