Execution
The production process for Nivea was very challenging. It was shot in only four days and all scenes had a certain level of complexity. Recreating each time period was a big achievment, art department, wardrobe and make up all worked together in order to portray a realistic and believable representation in each scene. The film was shot in Uruguay, so we had to design and build all props and costumes in Argentina, and them ship them to Uruguay, which made it even harder. Also bring in an army of make up artists, a fx prostetic team, stunt doubles for the battle scenes and ten professional riders for the horses.
Also, we needed to find a medieval caste and found it in the border between Uruguay and Brazil, with the help of CGI work we ended up having a great and visually stunning scenario for the medieval scene.
