Description
Real Problems is a book for children which teaches sexual education at home through math. Professional phsicologists changed typical math problems for real life problems, the ones young people would face if proper sex education is not received. Each problem has three questions, one of them about maths and another two questions about sexual education to be answered with their parents.
Execution
After creating the idea, we gathered together with educational psychologists to understand which were the most common consequences for kids of not having sexual education.
Then, when we found them, we created 10 math problems which tackled those situations and that could be solved with the team work between parents and kids.
Finally, we deigned the book and offer the idea to the publisher "Editorial Planeta", which decided to publish the book and sell it all over Peruvian bookstores.
Outcome
- Save the Children got an alliance with "Editorial Planeta", the biggest and most important LATAM publisher to sell the books in every bookstore of the country.
