In addition to the main recruiting ad via university magazines, we printed an unusual recruitment ad onto mobile chalkboards and placed them directly beside the bulletin-boards on campus (in hallways and in lecture halls of Germany's best technical universities).Visible and attention-grabbing for a lot of engineering talents, we ensured that only the best of them were able to send TOYOTA their applications by having a differential equation to solve directly on the chalkboards.
Outcome
For an investment of €1100,- in total, TOYOTA generated 40 times more traffic on www.toyota.de/career thus far and received 417 applications – 3 of which were hired as a direct consequence of the recruitment ad.
