Everybody loves avocados. The powerfruit has valuable ingredients and has established itself as a superfood for nutrition-conscious people. But we all know one problem: How do you actually recognize a ripe avocado? By squeezing it? Smelling it? Shaking it? – How do we make it easy for the customers of REWE – the second largest supermarket chain in Germany – to recognize which avocado is right for them – and especially when they should eat it best?
Execution
To show the customers when the avocados have the ideal ripening color, we used the simplest advertising medium in the world in an innovative way: a sticker. As soon as the avocado reaches the color of the sticker, it is ready to eat.
