Existing customers were sent a personalised shoe bag with an invitation to put their worn-out running shoes in it, sprint to Pitsch Sport and claim a scrapping bonus of 5 Swiss francs for them. Of course, the customers were allowed to keep their personal shoe bag with their name on.
Outcome
The store didn‘t have to wait long for the first runners to arrive, and not only did Pitsch receive a large quantity of running shoes, but they also sold 250% more during the campaign than in the same period the previous year.
