Description
There are two compelling insights for this project.• Every company sends a holiday card, resulting in lots of clutter• Every company has a holiday party, at which employees may embarrass themselves.To address Insight #1, Wunderman created an original, humorous book that acknowledged the holidays without the typical sentimentality. To address Insight #2, Wunderman "commissioned" a study outlining the perils of inappropriate holiday party behavior, then outlined the findings using humor to draw attention. Wunderman engaged renowned artist "Shag" to illustrate the book. A sticker sheet was included to encourage recipients to interact with the book.
Outcome
The book memorably demonstrated Wunderman's creative capabilities while commemorating the holidays in a unique manner. 78% of current clients and 12% of prospective clients responded via phone or email. Wunderman successfully "broke through the clutter" and demonstrated its unique approach while encouraging dialogue with our most important colleagues.
