Microsoft approached Fallon for help in promoting Office Mac 2004. In January 2004, Microsoft's Macintosh group joined Steve Jobs at Macworld and announced Office Mac 2004. Kris Barton, a group manager, demonstrated the software's new features during a well-received keynote.Fallon created an opportunity for him to continue his preview online. As a developer, rather than a marketer, Kris made for a trusted spokesperson whom otherwise skeptical Mac users would embrace.
Using full-motion video combined with onscreen animation, we created a virtual version of Kris's keynote, which has become an effective product evangeliser among Mac users, software reviewers, and the client.
