Challenge: Getty Images possesses an extensive archive of sport images. The task was to create an e-mailing campaign for German-speaking sport editors that would inform them of the archive and generate more enquiries.Result: The relevance of Getty Images sport photography was made into an experience for the editors. From 3,500 sport editors who received the invitation, 23% took part in the contest. Supported by follow-up telephone calls, the revenue from sport editorial images doubled in comparison with 2006: 28% sales increase.
