Execution

Kathmandu’s “Summer Never Sleeps” shows us that summer is a time for spontaneity, inspiring people to venture somewhere new, dive into the unexpected and maximise every opportunity to live your best summer yet, not only during the day but at night too. The film follows an eclectic group of friends roast tiny pillow marshmallows, spy a merman portrait painting and rave in a cave with a DJ owl, all whilst sporting Kathmandu’s range of purpose-designed, technically advanced, outdoor gear. This weird and wonderful compilation of madness is pulled together masterfully to the soundtrack of Jimmy, Renda-Se, by Brazilian composer, Tom Zé. The film goes one step further featuring animation that flows throughout, adding to the youthful character of the brand.
