Execution

Our solution was to create a memorable on-line happening that would touch the hearts of the public, but in the same time truly demonstrate “Internet Everywhere” experience enabled by the T services.

We organised the first live on-line concert in Macedonia. But it was not an ordinary concert, it was a live performance of the Macedonian Philharmonic orchestra performing, for the first time, people’s most favourite Macedonian pop songs.The concert was broadcast exclusively on-line and people could follow it live, on different screens – at home using fix broadband internet, on mobile phones using 3G mobile internet, on tablets and laptops on dedicated T hot-spots.For the first time the web audience was able to share their impressions and comments in real-time via dedicated Facebook and Twitter streams. The performers were able to follow the “digital applause” from the public on special screens placed in the concert hall.

Outcome

As the concert progressed, it created incredible on-line buzz. Thousands of people praised the experience and applauded to their favourite songs. The concert turned into the biggest event in Macedonian web history.Total number of visits on the concert site reached over 31,000, a huge number in a country with a population of 2 million and more than the circulation of the biggest national newspaper.Free media coverage exceeded the average budget spent on paid internet campaigns.
