Our brief was to increase registrations to Sony Professional’s videographer eCRM programme across Europe by creating a campaign that would inspire videographers and help them achieve their vision and give them a competitive edge.‘A Shot of Greatness is part of 'extra.ordinary', a digital campaign featuring inspirational films, which demonstrate how to get more from the product range. To bring the concept to life, we teamed up with a well-known filmmaker and director to produce content that helps videographers take an ordinary situation and turn it into something magical and visually stunning.
‘A Shot at Greatness’ is the third and final film in the extra.ordinary series. It was shot using the Sony NEX-FS100E, a popular mid-range camcorder. The film was executed on a tight budget and within a limited timeframe to mirror the constraints faced by professionals in their everyday life.New registrants were able to submit an idea for the third film and ‘A Shot at Greatness’ is based on the winning concept. The idea was selected from hundreds of entries and it depicts a boxer’s mental and physical preparations for a fight.
