Spider-Man swings his web trough New York City and comes across a baby version of himself in a window reflection.

We had a tight budget and filming schedule. The Agency wanted to put a lot of the creative focus on how to create the body language of baby Spider-Man so that it felt real and alive by combining great animation with a strong human presence.

We decided to shoot our 2 days in LA on the New York backlot at Paramount Studios. We filmed in Los Angeles because it was easier from a logistical point of view and the use of the backlot allowed for full control of the surroundings and light. We had to make sure we stayed true to the feature as well as the feel Evian was after.

To get the dancing sequence right we worked with multiple choreographers from L.A. to create the action for the dancer on set. Because babies move very differently from adults we decided to have an additional shoot day in Paris where we filmed babies of different ages to ensure that we got their expressions and movements right.

The collaboration between all involved was truly amazing and even tough it looked like a political and logistical nightmare it turned out to be a very smooth production.
