75 PARIS / PMU / 2019
Each frame is a picture in and of itself. We wanted to impress people with the scope and beauty of our film. To make people stop in their tracks when they watch this. Not only because the film poses a question – Why are these fascinating characters dropping everything to go and jump on a horse, filled with the sudden unstoppable urge to race?? – but also because it simply just looks amazing.
This race had to feel like a proper “Big Hollywood” production. The camera is fast and energetic, the light is cinematic and dramatic. It was shot in anamorphic format in order to accentuate its cinematic style, and the director decided to work with a DOP with experience in feature film.
