For a seamless brand experience the new configurator had visually integrated perfectly into the 2013 redesigned Porsche corporate website and reflects the high quality of the brand. It is the first full responsive configurator within the benchmark and provides an optimal user experience with full depth configuration on smartphones, tablets and desktop computers–for more than 50 countries in respective languages. The customization options of a Porsche vehicle are extensive. Another benchmark: trillion possible combinations can be shown per vehicle in the interactive 360° visualizer. This arouses the interest in experimenting and gives each Porsche a personal touch.

Outcome

The new Car Configurator introduces itself in a nice and plain flat design like the Porsche corporate website and sparing decorative accessory. Selectable in- and outside perspectives and 3D animations show the configured vehicle as detailed as never before. The configurator supports users in decision making by showing color combinations recommended by Porsche designers, highlights as well as bestseller options. 25% more vehicle configurations are done online. This is equivalent to more than 3 million hits per month worldwide and an average investigation of 23 minutes to configure a dream car. The result: 100% individual, 100% Porsche.
