Background

The promo features Sir Tom Jones, Will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson and Olly Murs in roles we are not accustomed to seeing them assume. Rather than being behind the mic as singers, we see them playing the drums, bass, keyboard and keytar. This setting of the stars as band members accentuates the absence of a lead singer, and highlights The Voice's intention to find the latest singing sensation.

Execution

A conceptual ad that celebrates and champions the incredible chemistry between the four Voice coaches. Their distinct difference from other talent show coaches/judges is the fact that each of them are credible performers and artists in their own right. This campaign brings that notion to the forefront where we see the four coaches form the greatest supergroup imaginable. But they’re missing one thing: the voice.
