As the first snow is falling outside, a lone woodcarver puts the finishing touches

on his latest work, a life-size puppet. To his surprise, the puppet magically

comes to life. The woodcarver is filled with joy as he enjoys a wonderful dinner

together with his newfound friend. That is, until the puppet returns to its

lifeless, wooden state, and the woodcarver is left alone with his lonely reality.
