If you’ve ever gotten to talking with your Uber driver, you know that each one has their own story to share. Not just as a driver, but as someone using Uber as a way to pursue their ambition. Each with their own reason to drive.

The film focuses on hands on the steering wheel as a universal symbol of drivers and embodies the rich diversity of people who earn with Uber. A recognizable glimpse of humanity. Our hands hold our life’s stories – you can tell so much from them at first glance.

The film intercuts those same hands with scenes of the drivers as they pursue their aspirations. Each inspired by a real Uber driver’s experience. Over the seamless flow of narratives, we hear the famous Alan Watts speech What Do You Desire
