Background
Grammy award-winning rockband, Portugal. The Man, needed a video to launch their new single ‘Tidal Wave’.
Idea
We created a claymation world in which the band performed for a live studio audience who witness them morph into claymation mutants due to a ‘tidal wave’ of toxic sludge.
Strategy
The strategy was to target both fans of the band and fans of claymation art.
Execution
The music video was released on October 15, 2018 through YouTube.
Outcome
Since its release, the music video has garnered a little over half a million views (729k) online.
