The technology in cars these days is truly great. It’s extremely capable - far beyond our understanding - especially considering the fact that most of it happens and works invisibly. It’s a shield of innovative and intelligent technology protecting us whilst driving. The goal of the film is to highlight some of these technologies in a human and positive way. To make us understand and acknowledge what we have, portrayed in a fun, charming, surprising yet convincing way. A philosophical journey around the theme of “nothing”, exploring the different “forms of nothing”. In the end, it’s this particular “nothing” that we hear, see and feel during the several incredible VW innovations that surround us when we drive. In the rare moments we recognise them - they just appear quickly just to make sure that - nothing - happens.
