Description
Demonstrate in a rather unusual and vivid way that with a Polo BlueMotion you can drive up to 1100 km without a need to refuel. Our target audience was young drivers who are looking for a safe and above all economical car.
Execution
We modified the bumper cars ride so that anyone who inserted a chip into our “BlueMotion” vehicle was able to enjoy a much longer ride than those who went for a ride on the ordinary bumper cars. With this idea we demonstrated the benefits of our product in a playful way.
Outcome
During the two-week campaign over 85,000 drivers got a taste of the superior cruising range of the Polo BlueMotion. Over 3,400 drivers ordered additional material or arranged a test drive. During 2007 an amazing 1650 vehicles were sold.
