The idea was so well received that Colombia and Mexico also joined us

As soon as the new voices were available, downloads started at an incredible rate! On the day of the campaign launch, we reached the highest peak of concurrent users in Waze's world history.

What was supposed to be only a celebration among users rapidly went public and became a craze reaching the main media outlets in each of the three countries.

Outcome

4.3 million people downloaded the app in less than 2 weeks

75% of Waze users in Brazil downloaded the voices.

The advertising video has gone viral and became one of the most viewed videos during the world cup.

And the idea of turning stress into fun has become the biggest promotional action in Waze's history.
