In this film we take a raw and gritty look at working life across Britain. Shining a light on the role Ford vans & pickups play in helping the nation get the job done. We depict the British workers as a united force. We see abseiling window cleaners, patrolling lifeguards, industrious steel workers and a dogged & determined plumber hard at work. Their efforts are punctuated with a moment of levity (a poorly-timed offer of a cup of tea) We then see them on the road, coming together to create a fleet of Ford vehicles on a bridge that serves as a metaphor for the vertebrae in the Backbone of Britain.

The world knows Britain is in political crisis. A country divided by political opinion and indecision. Brexit has stalled so many times, but UK businesses and workers never have. Throughout the turmoil they have continued to get on with their work and kept the nation going. While politicians are debating how to run the country the workforce of Britain are already doing it.
