Sand Plane Where Qantas and The Gold Coast meet.

We flew the best sand sculptors from all over the globe to Australia and sculpted the interior of a Qantas 737-800 complete with pilots and passengers including celebrities such as Dame Edna Everage and local media personalities. The Sand Plane was sculptured over seven days in a highly visible outdoor location in the CBD of Australia's largest city, Sydney

There was an empty seat that people were able to sit on and be photographed in Business Class alongside Dame Edna and shared on social media with a linked promotion to win free flights. The idea generated strong social media and national media coverage.
